What’s Going On In The Cafeteria Today?
Lunch Times, Volunteer Opportunities And More
Come enjoy lunch with us! Every day we offer a full lunch, which consists of the entrée of the day, vegetable, fruit or yogurt, and milk.
If your child has a food allergy, please talk to the cafeteria staff and we’ll be happy to make a substitution. Other than for food allergies, we can’t make substitutions or variations to that day’s menu.
Lunch Prices
We offer full lunches for all students, from pre-K through Grade 8. Lunch prices vary by grades:
- Pre-K and kindergarten: $3.50
- Grades 1 and 2: $4.00
- Grades 3 through 8: $4.50
For a la carte prices and menu, visit our a la carte page.
Lunch Times
We have two main lunch periods at St. Francis, which are segmented by grades.
First shift: 12:40 p.m.-1:05 p.m. for kindergarten, grades 1, 4, 5 and 6
Second Shift: 1:07 p.m.-1:32 p.m. for grades 2, 3, 7 and 8
Lunch Schedule
Students will enter the cafeteria kitchen area and check in at the register to verify that there are funds in their account. The students will go through the full lunch area first, followed by the a la carte area. Finally, the students will check out at the register.
Volunteer In The Cafeteria
We’re always looking for volunteers in the cafeteria! Spending just 45 minutes during the serving portion of the lunch shift greatly helps our students move through the lunch line efficiently. If you have more time available, we can always use help setting up and cleaning up.
We also welcome help from grandparents! Please email Lois Trail at ltrail@sfdscs.org to volunteer – our students will appreciate it and you’ll earn valuable volunteer hours.
