What’s Going On In The Cafeteria Today?

Lunch Times, Volunteer Opportunities And More

Every day we offer a full lunch, which consists of the entrée of the day, vegetables, fruit or yogurt.

WHAT DOES LUNCH CONSIST OF?

We will be providing lunch in-house this year 5 days a week.  The menu will rotate over 10 days with chicken nuggets and pizza repeating each week.  Lunches will come with a side and sides will be posted when you place your order each week.  You must purchase lunch a week in advance and there will be no extra lunches available for purchase during the lunch shifts.

At this time, we will not be selling anything extra such as cookies or ice cream.  This may become available for purchase in advance further into the school year.

How to order lunch:

-You will receive a Google document each Monday listing all 5 days that lunch is available for the following week.  Please follow the directions on that document to sign up for one or more of the lunches.

-All lunch orders and payments must be received by 3 p.m. every Wednesday for the following week.  -No orders or payments will be accepted after 3 pm on Wednesday.

-Your order will be processed and you will receive an email if there is not money available on your student’s account to purchase lunch.  If you receive that email, you will need to pack your student’s lunch that day, and make sure that you plan ahead for the next week.

-If paying online, please transfer the money onto your student’s account on Monday to be sure it is available by Wednesday at 3 pm – Sometimes it takes a few days for the transfer to complete.

Volunteer In The Cafeteria

We’re always looking for volunteers in the cafeteria with in the lunch room or in the Kitchen! Spending just 45 minutes during the serving portion of the lunch shift greatly helps our students move through the lunch line efficiently. If you have more time, we can always use help setting up, cleaning up, and monitoring the students in the lunch room. We also welcome help from grandparents!

A background check is required to volunteer while school is in session. Check out our volunteer sign-up genius to see if you can volunteer!
