Welcome Message
Welcome to Second Grade at St. Francis de Sales Catholic School. My name is Mrs. Mann and I am so excited for a jam-packed year of learning and fun! I cannot wait to see how your child will grow into an amazing young person and student.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Salisbury University, and I am currently working on my Master’s degree in Reading Instruction. This upcoming year will be
my 6th year teaching at St. Francis de Sales. I began teaching in Kindergarten and have now moved on to second grade for the last three years.
In my free time, I love to read, play with my dog Miller, and watch reality TV. Teaching is very near and dear to my heart. I love getting to watch each child bloom as the year progresses and I love to see the spark of loving to learn grow. It is my personal goal that each student will love to learn and love to come to school. I look forward to teaching and living a faithfully led life with my students.
Please be on the lookout for weekly updates and announcements. I will send a newsletter home every Monday with important dates, information, and what we are learning that week.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me at Kmann@sfdscs.org
Fondly,
-Mrs. Mann
